Regular testing for common STIs is a good idea if you’re sexually active or in a sexual relationship. This is particularly important if you don’t know your partners sexual history, have multiple short or long term sexual partners.

You should seek medical attention ASAP and do not engage in any sexual activity prior to doing so. Visit a doctor, hospital or specialised clinic where you will be able to receive preventative post exposure prophylaxis (PEP).
